Professional Profile

Haydar’s yachting experience and career spans 15 years. He holds a captains diploma along with the Professional Association of Open Water Diving certificate and certificates in marine safety and life saving. Moreover, his experience covers interior boat design boat construction and maintenance as well as quality control and supervising of the construction process. In addition to his extensive knowledge of local and regional coastal areas generated by his love of sailing, he is a physical therapy practitioner with qualifications in massage, Thai massage, Shiatsu, Indian head massage, aromatherapy, and Dorn-Breus spine correction techniques. In the course of his study and work, he lived in Australia, Great Britain and various South Asian countries before returning to Turkey to establish his current private practice.

Haydar’s background includes university degree in primary school education and subsequently several years in Eastern Turkey as a school teacher. As a result of his love for his native country, Haydar has been activley involved in Turkish folk dancing for over 20 years and, almost inevitably, has become an accomplished musician. He is married and has one daughter. He is fluent in English and, of course, Turkish.
