Q: How do we get to our boat? A: You will be picked up by our representative in an air conditioned VIP bus at Dalaman Airport and driven directly to your boat in Fethiye. Q: What is the total number of guests on board? A: Boat A holds a maximum of 12 people, Boat B a maximum of 10 if the boats are fully booked. However, if you have arranged for a private charter only your party will be on board. Q: What do you mean by booking a cabin? A: Basically, the cabin booking fee equals 2 single's fees (each cabin has a 2-person apacity). However, if you prefer to have the cabin to yourself you will have to pay one-and-a-half single's fees for the single occumpancy of a cabin.Of xourse, you may meet other compatible guests on board who are on the same "wavelength" as you and with whom you may not only want to share your experiences but also a cabin.
Q: When do we set out on our cruise? A: As soon as all guests arrive at the boat. If our guests arrive at different times on departure day we will make sure the early birds will have the chance to visit old town Fethiye, the rock tombs, or a Turkish bath (depending on the time at hand). But perhaps you would even prefer to have a head start relaxing on board. Q: What kind of clothes should I bring on my holiday? A: Please, bring not too many light, casual, comfortable clothes, e.g. shorts, shirts, T-shirts etc. And, iIf you like, also a pair of deck-shoes, good comfortable walking shoes, sun tan lotion, sunglasses, a hat, and swimwear. In May and October, you may need a light sweater or cardigan in the evening. Please, check the weather forecast for the occasional rain, A rain jacket might be useful but is rarely needed. We will provide such things as towels, hair dryers, and snorkeling equipments and fishing gear. We keep our own supply of sun tan lotion, hats, and sunglasses in case you forget or lose yours. Please, put all your personal items ina soft bag or a backpack as this type of luggage is easy to store in a cabin. Q: How about the sea-sickness? A: Because of the way the boat is operated, there is only a small chance that you will be sea sick. For the unlikely event of a guest feeling sea sick, we keep the appropriate medication in our first aid kit. Q: What will the weather be like? A: Guaranteed sunshine for more than five months in a year. In May and October it may rain for a day or two. The average temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, the evenings are somewhat cooler but still pleasant enough to spend on deck. In June and September you can expect 30 to 33 degrees Celsius in the daytime, and it is very pleasant in the evening. You will not need long sleeved T-shirts or shirts. July and August are the hottest months - the mercury rises to temperatures between 35 and 45 degrees Celsius. A gentle breeze, called meltem, goes almost all day and in the evening making the heat bearable on the boat. And, of course, plenty of swimming will help you keep your cool. Q: How do we get an entry visa for Turkey? A: Some EU citizens do not need a visa. British, Irish and some other EU nationalities obtain their visas at the port of entry for a small charge. Currently no need to submit a visa application at a Turkish Consulate in your own country of residence. We do, however, advise you to check the latest visa conditions, fees, and other details with your local Turkish consulate before your departure. Q: How about the money? A: Hard currencies such as Euro, GBP, and US dollar as well as travelers' cheques are accepted everywhere. Visa, Master Card, and American Express Card are taken nearly everywhere, even in small shops and market stalls. You may want to exchange money in your own country but the rate will be lower than in Turkey. All banks, money exchanges, gold shops, most petrol stations, and large stores will accept the above mentioned currencies, but not coins. You can withdraw Turkish Lira from cash points all over Fethiye.
